This high quality stoneware is made by the Larnhof family in Eastern Austria. It is very durable, oven and microwave safe. Hand painted, and designed in the simple country shapes of generations of potters of this beautiful region.
The original
design is on a grey background, with the Edelweiss blossoms garlanded by sprays of Gentian
and Alpine Rose.
Please note that some of these are from older shipments, and the decoration does vary. A lovely and useful variety of pieces is available, though the pattern is no longer in production.
Some pieces are also available with a light blue background.
